All team members are required to comply, maintain and enforce the rules and regulations of the North Carolina Division of Child Development as well as all Health Department sanitation requirements. Qualifications Education:

2 Year / Associate Degree, required. AA/AAS degree in Early Childhood or related field as defined by DHHS Division of Child Development Education unit, required.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-year verifiable experience in a childcare center, or years of experience working with children up to 12 years of age; required.

Licensure/Certification:

NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required.

ITS SIDS

(Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire (infants up to 12 months of age)of age), required.

Additional Skills Required:

DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background Letter (required renewal every 5 years), and Workforce letter (within 60 days of hire) or education verification until workforce letter is obtain. Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. BSAC required for those working with school age children. CDL for school age if driving the buses.
