The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners, while implementing a comprehensive preschool curriculum that fosters growth and development. Education Requirements Associates or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field required Classroom Experience 2 Years’ experience Responsibilities Planning and executing an educational program of developmentally appropriate activities of children in care Provides activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration and problem solving appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of children Provides a supportive environment in which children can learn and practice appropriate and acceptable individual and group behaviors Assure the welfare, health and safety of the children Organizing and maintaining classroom activity areas, materials and supplies Maintain constant supervision of children Establish and maintain effective communication with parents Good communications with other staff to create a professional atmosphere Attend pre-service and in-service training as required Understand N.C.
