Summary We are seeking a Substitute Teacher & Before/After School Teacher to join our team at Gifted Stars Early Learning Academy. In this role, you will support our educators by providing quality instruction and care in the absence of regular teachers. Now Hiring:

1. On-Call Substitute Teacher At least 5-6 days per month

Hours:

9:00 AM – 1:00

PM Pay:

$13-$16/hour 2.

Before & Afterschool Teacher Location:

600 E. Umstead St. Durham, NC 27701

Hours:

7:30-8:30 AM & 2:30-5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive learning atmosphere. Provide care and supervision for children during instructional time and play. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special needs. Assist in curriculum development and implementation as needed. Requirements High School Diploma/GED Experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
