Qualifications:

Teacher Requirements:

Completed Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development, or related field Completed unrelated degree, accepted with North Carolina Credentials and an additional 12 semester hours in early childhood coursework Key Responsibilities and Expectations Provides a positive and nurturing environment for the children Offers consistent and constant supervision of children Complies with all rules and regulations about the health, safety, and care of children Uses positive statements and is a positive role model for children Develop lesson plans following the Creative Curriculum. Ensures an organized and structured daily schedule Manages daily functions for the classroom, including but not limited to curriculum implementation, transitions, room organization, meals, and naptime Conduct student evaluations and parent-teacher conferences Ensures that all class bulletin boards are current and informative Accepts responsibility for the housekeeping duties of the classroom Attends all required staff meetings, training, and/or school functions as determined by the Director Maintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times Must be able to lift to 40 lbs Communicate with parents through the
