As part of our innovative approach to education, we aim to empower children to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners through play-based learning. Teachers at Wallburg Academy play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks through twelve years.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Implement child welfare practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Educate students using engaging teaching methods tailored to individual needs
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, including behavior and classroom organization
- Implement Montessori principles and curriculum development strategies
- Prepare students for standardized testing when applicable
- Teach various subjects including Math with a focus on early intervention strategies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields
- Passion for working with children and fostering their growth
- Ability to create a positive and safe learning environment
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Familiarity with Montessori education is a plus
