Preschool Teacher Franklinton UMC Daycare 110 North Hillsborough Street, Franklinton, NC 27525 We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Infant/Toddler and Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team! Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18 years or older) Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education (ECE) center Previous experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children preferred Must meet all local regulatory requirements (background check, physical exam, TB test) Passionate about working with children and fostering their development Ability to assist or lead classroom activities and develop age-appropriate lesson plans Coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus Must be a team player with strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, actively engaging with children
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment Follow established daily routines and schedules Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and team members Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress and development Monitor and maintain the health and safety of all children in the classroom Comply with all state, local, and center-specific regulations and policies
