The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for young children. This role is essential in guiding preschool-aged children through their developmental milestones while promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth. (This position offers a great schedule for parents of grade school children working while their children are in school.) Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Christ-centered early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured and supportive atmosphere. Assess and monitor each child’s progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and any concerns. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive learning environment for all students. Experience Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues. Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.
