Planning and implementing learning experiences as part of the Head Start curriculum that address physical health and development, social and emotional development, approaches to learning, language development and communication, and cognitive development. Creating ongoing assessments of the growth and development of assigned children to form instruction and measure progress toward School Readiness Goals. Partnering with families to develop positive, open, relationship-based two-way communication using home visits, parent/teacher conferences and other communication tools. Establishing procedures to support successful transitions for enrolled children and families into and out of Early Head Start. Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the classroom and on the playground. Head Start prepares young children to succeed in school and in life beyond school. We deliver services to children and families in areas of early learning, health, and family well-being while engaging parents as partners every step of the way.
Qualifications Minimum:
Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Infant Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA), or
Infant Toddler Care Certificate Preferred:
