NC Pre-K Teacher 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 633 West Mclelland Avenue, Mooresville, NC 28115 Job Overview A clarification of the position we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic preschool teacher to become part of our early childhood education team. The perfect applicant will foster the cognitive, emotional, social, and motor development of young people by establishing a providing care, motivating, and educational environment. The prerequisites for this position include having a solid understanding of early childhood development and the capacity to formulate involving, as well as educational experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in areas such as math, language, and social skills. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development. Foster positive relationships with children while promoting their emotional well-being and self-esteem. Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each child’s education. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Support the implementation of child welfare policies and practices within the classroom setting. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in early childhood education. Qualifications A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members. Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus but not required. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
