Infant/Toddler Teacher Kids R Kids of Clayton Clayton, NC 27520 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment. This role involves educating young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development, and ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Provide individualized attention to students, including those with special education needs or different learning styles. Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the children’s development. Conduct regular assessments of student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum Provide a nurturing and safe environment for infants and toddlers Experience Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques is essential. Previous experience in infant/toddler care can be beneficial for understanding the needs of young children. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus for supporting diverse learners. Strong classroom management skills are necessary to maintain an effective learning environment.
