Job Description:
ILIM Montessori School is seeking a passionate and experienced Arabic Language Immersion Teacher to join our innovative team. This role involves implementing an immersive language education model that aligns with Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for students to develop their academics, Arabic language and core skills along with cultural awareness.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities exclusively in the Arabic language. Utilize Montessori Albums and current research-based practices to develop integrated language units. Prepare a language-rich environment that meets the developmental needs of the children. Employ various assessment tools to make informed decisions for individual student progress. Document student progress in line with Reggio standards and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) as needed. Maintain a clean, orderly, and attractive Montessori language environment. Incorporate relevant technology to enhance language instruction. Foster a respectful and kind classroom atmosphere, modeling conflict resolution and problem-solving. Regularly communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to discuss student needs and progress. Build strong relationships with parents, focusing on the specific language development needs of their children. Engage in continuous professional growth through conferences, workshops, and school-based activities. Participate in self-assessment, collaborative professional development, and school-wide learning community meetings.
Requirements:
Minimum of 24 months of teaching or experience with interacting with small to large groups in this specified age group. Fluency in the Arabic language.
