Early Learner Assistant Prek 1st Grade Kumon Math and Reading Center of Charlotte-prosperity Church Road Charlotte, NC Job Details Part-time $12 – $15 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications English Preschool experience Teaching Entry level Full Job Description Kumon Math And Reading Center Of Charlotte Prosperity Church Road in Huntersville, NC is looking for one early learner assistant (prek-1st grade) to join our 16 person strong team. We are located on 13010 Eastfield Road, C 500. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working. Responsibilities
- Work with Preschool through 1st grade students developing their preliteracy and numeracy skills.
- Will train on the Kumon Method Qualifications
- Ideal for anyone interested in Early Childhood Development
- Must enjoy working with children
- Outgoing and service-oriented personality
- Punctual, well-organized and reliable
- Energetic and proactive (e.g.: ability to work well under pressure and multitask)
- English is a primary language as you are teaching students alphabetic knowledge, letter sounds, consonant combinations, and vowel patterns.
- Preschool/Kinder experience a plus!
- Must pass assessment tests
- Part-time hours from 3pm to 8pm We are looking forward to receiving your application.

Available shifts and compensation:
Available shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Compensation is $12.00 – $15.00/hour.
