Our client is looking for an experienced, nurturing, and energetic full-time Infant Co-Teacher to join their premier preschool in Huntersville, NC . The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-weeks to 12-months-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Monday-Friday, year-round employment Available shifts are either 8:15am-5:15pm or 8:30am-5:30pm Salary $15.50 – $17.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Paid holidays Child-enrollment discount Professional development assistance Job Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as assisting with the maintenance of educational portfolios Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old

REQUIRED
Education:

High School diploma or

GED REQUIRED
Experience:

Experience working with children 5-years-old and younger; babysitting and nannying OK! Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility
