Preschool Floater Daycare Center In Charlotte 5950 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC 28215 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Floater to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support across various classrooms, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. You will work closely with teachers to facilitate learning activities, assist with classroom management, and promote child welfare. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive learning experience for young children. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities. Engage with children in various educational and recreational activities. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative atmosphere. Monitor children’s behavior and provide guidance as needed to ensure a positive learning environment. Help with the supervision of children during outdoor play, meals, and transitions between activities. Participate in training sessions related to early intervention strategies and special education practices. Foster an understanding of Montessori principles in daily interactions with children. Experience • DCDEE Qualification Letter , Current TB & Health Assessment are required. Previous experience in childcare or preschool settings is preferred but not required. Knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention techniques is beneficial. Familiarity with classroom management strategies and the ability to communicate effectively with young children. Experience working with toddlers or in daycare settings is a plus. Understanding of basic math concepts as they relate to early childhood education is desirable.
