Job Description:

Must be at least 18 years of age Flexible to work any shift between 5:30am to 5:30pm: Open, mid-day, and/or closing shifts Able to open/close classrooms when needed Create a wholesome, loving, Christian atmosphere in all environments Supervise and engage with the children in all environments Create, prepare and/or assist in the implementation of lesson plans and curriculum Provide daily devotions and ongoing blessings Supervise nap time, mealtime and snacks Ensure children have good hygiene and change diapers as needed Maintain bathroom and classroom cleanliness Execute end of day duties Must attend staff meetings, training sessions and special events as required Take direction and work cohesively with the Director, Assistant Director, and Supervisors; as well as, other teachers assigned to the classroom Perform other duties as assigned when necessary

Requirements:

Current criminal background check through the NC Department of Health and Human Services NCID Qualification Letter Current physical examination and tuberculosis (TB) test/screening Staff Health Assessment/Medical Report Positive, friendly, “can-do” attitude

Education:

High School or equivalent (Required) Associates Degree (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Early Childhood Education Certificate or Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

1 year in a childcare setting (Preferred)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 6.5-8 hour shift Day shift only
