Early Childhood Teacher Arundel Children’s Garden Kennebunkport, ME 04046 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and supporting the holistic development of each child in our care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and physical education. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages communication, exploration, and learning. Assess and monitor children’s progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the educational experience. Participate in curriculum development to ensure alignment with educational standards and best practices. Maintain a safe and organized classroom that promotes effective learning. Qualifications An associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience working with young children. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families. Ability to plan lessons Knowledge of literacy education techniques and physical education activities for young children.
