Toddler Teacher Little Learners Academy, LLC 615 West Elizabeth Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and the ability to engage with children in a positive and encouraging manner. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students. Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Facilitate activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall development of each child. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and assessments. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and classroom activities. Skills Strong experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of infant care practices is beneficial for working with younger children. Familiarity with special education principles to support diverse learning needs. Experience in caregiving or babysitting roles is an asset. First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all students. Previous experience working with children in various capacities (nannying, teaching, etc.) is highly valued. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
