Floater/ Closer Miss Ashley’s Enrichment Academy 624 Brewer Street, Asheboro, NC 27203 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, facilitating their growth and development through engaging activities. This role requires strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere for all students. Responsibilities Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children. Provide individualized attention to each child, including those with diverse needs or disabilities, to support their unique learning styles. Engage in caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and supervising children during playtime and other activities. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the curriculum and share best practices in early childhood education. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space that encourages exploration and creativity. Qualifications Previous experience in childcare or education settings is preferred; experience with infant care or working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Ability to educate young children through creative play, structured activities, and hands-on experiences. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members. A nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with young children. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not required at the time of hire; willingness to obtain certification is necessary. A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
