Summary We are currently seeking Support Staff to join our team at Lightbridge Academy. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing environment for children while assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Your contributions will help illuminate young minds and support our mission of quality education. Responsibilities Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in a safe and engaging environment. Support teachers in implementing educational activities and programs. Observe and document children’s progress and behavior, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff. Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and play areas. Provide first aid as needed, ensuring children’s health and safety at all times. Engage with children through play, fostering their social and emotional development. Requirements Experience in child care or related fields is preferred. Strong observational skills with the ability to assess children’s needs. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or must be obtained upon hiring. Ability to lift heavy objects as needed for child care activities. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
