We are currently seeking a Knowledgeable and caring professional educator to float during the current school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, babysitting, and preschool environments. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and educational atmosphere for children of different age groups, ensuring their well-being and development through engaging activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare space to ensure a safe environment. The candidates shall have at least experience working at a licensed child care facility, an AAS in ECE or a related field or be currently enrolled in an AAS is a plus. Must be available to start within 1 to 3 days. Classroom serves children placed by Wake County Smart Start. The assignment is for September – June 6, 2025. Applicant must have proof of education, Current TB test and current criminal records qualifying letter from DCDEE. Bilingual a plus. The associate shall assist the Lead teachers in providing care for the children. S/he must provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment and meet individual learning needs. S/he must be able to assist in executing meaningful, developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
