Childcare Provider Rising Stars of North Carolina 804 Crestview SW Avenue, Wilson, NC 27893 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the necessary skills to support their development and well-being. Responsibilities Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a safe environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Monitor children’s behavior and provide guidance in accordance with behavior management strategies. Maintain a clean and organized childcare space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress, needs, and any concerns. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available. Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure consistency in care and educational practices. Qualifications Experience in childcare settings such as babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable. Familiarity with infant care practices and toddler care techniques. Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus. Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children’s interactions. Ability to create engaging activities that cater to various developmental stages. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children and parents alike.
