Daycare Assistant 603 Little Sprouts Laconia, NH 03246 Overview We are looking for some full time temporary help come fall time and in the future afterwards With part time morning help! Closed on fridays! Duties Assist in the supervision of children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Support classroom management by helping to maintain an organized and engaging learning environment. Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including educational games, arts and crafts, and physical play. Provide care for infants and young children, including diaper changing, feeding, and comforting as needed. Collaborate with lead teachers to develop lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of all children, including those with disabilities. Monitor children’s behavior and implement behavior management strategies as necessary to promote positive interactions. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Experience Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and early childhood development principles is highly desirable. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. A background in babysitting or infant care will be beneficial for this role.
