Summary We are seeking a passionate Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at Piggyback Rides & Slippery Slides. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating an engaging classroom that promotes social, emotional, and academic development for our kindergarten students. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards pairing the current classroom curriculum (Learning Beyond Paper) and students’ interests Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s development. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills. Requirements A minimum of 9 Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education Credits; 18+ preferred Experience working with young children in an educational setting. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
