We are looking for an early childhood professional and emerging leader to join our Early Childhood Centers of Excellence (ECCE) as an Assistant Director! Working at Easterseals New Hampshire’s ECCEs is an exciting opportunity, as we are committed to providing high-quality, integrated child development services to children of all abilities. Our centers are National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredited and our teams make this work possible. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and working in an integrated-center based program, this could be a good fit for you! As an Assistant Director, you will collaborate with the Center Director to operate the child development program in compliance with NH Child Care Licensing regulations and NAEYC standards. This role will engage with teaching teams regularly, provide classroom support as needed, and partner with the Director on various projects and operational work. This is a unique opportunity to become part of an interdisciplinary team that delivers the best integrated care and services possible to the children and families we serve. This is the role for you if you have: Associate’s Degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a licensed child development program is required.
OR:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a licensed child development program, is preferred. The ability to obtain and maintain a New Hampshire Early Childhood Professional Development credential within 6 months of hire date. Certified in Infant/Child CPR, CPR and First Aid required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
