Daycare Aid Job Description:

Do you have a passion for working with children and nurturing their growth? Sugar n’ Spice Preschool is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Daycare Aid to join our team! As a Daycare Aid, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children. You will work collaboratively with lead teachers to provide exceptional care and educational experiences for our students.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers with daily routines and activities, such as: Lesson plans and playtime Meal and snack preparation and serving Supervise and engage with children in group and individual settings Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s day Observe and report children’s development and well-being Maintain accurate records as required

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is a plus Strong patience, creativity, and ability to follow instructions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing a positive and nurturing environment for children Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Pay Range:

$10-14 per hour depending on experience
