This position requires working with children 6 weeks to over a year. Must be able to follow state rules and regulations and use best practices to create a safe and nurturing environment for babies and a supportive environment for parents. Ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences. Duties Maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for infants Allow infants to eat and sleep at own individual cadence Create consistent routines Able and willing to take infants on strollers walks Create activities to engage children Communicating with parents on a daily basis and when developmental changes require conversation Changing diapers, feeding babies, engaging and playing with infants Cleaning Preparing for the next day Requirements Lead Teacher qualified = 18 credits in ECE, Associates or Bachelors degree Experience a plus CPR and First Aid qualified or willing to achieve Able to pass State and FBI fingerprinting Register in Professional Registry Complete all required trainings and maintain 18 hours yearly Understanding of NH Child Care Licensing Rules Nice To Haves Good Sense of humor Reliable and consistent Flexible Good Communication skills both verbally and written Benefits 80 hours Pait Time Off yearly Child Care 50% paid by organization or 25% of Individual Insurance Employer paid Tele-Doc program. The program opened in 2000, serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years and has a licensed capacity of 69 students. Nellie’s provides 5,000 square feet of indoor classroom spaces and sits on an acre of land. The goal of the school is to ensure the safety and well being of the children at all times and to encourage successful social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth and development throughout the early years. We acknowledge the importance of authentic partnerships with families as they are their child’s first teachers. We recognize each child as an individual and utilize developmentally appropriate, play based curriculum to promote independence and foster creativity. The center is open from 6:00am to 7:00pm and has an open door policy. Infants and Ones are provided diapers, wipes, spring water and whole milk. Twos, Preschool, Pre-k and K are provided breakfast, lunches and 3 snacks.
