This role is essential in providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with youth and possess skills that support their development, learning, and well-being. Duties Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Implement educational programs that focus on childhood development, including arts, sports, and recreational activities. Assist in behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Support special education needs by adapting activities to accommodate diverse learning styles. Facilitate sports coaching sessions to encourage teamwork, physical fitness, and healthy competition. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other staff members to plan and execute camp or daycare programs. Requirements Good standing in a Christian Church Experience in childcare, babysitting, or working in a daycare setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Skills in behavior management and classroom management techniques. Previous experience in sports coaching or related activities is a plus. Ability to educate children through engaging activities while fostering a supportive atmosphere. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
