Summer Camp Counselor Floater / Floater Toddlers ‘N Tots Preschool Clarksboro, NJ 08020 Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselor Floater to join our team for an enriching summer experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers while fostering their personal growth and development.
Hours:
9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Responsibilities Attend 1-2 trips/ activities a week to fun locations Supervise and engage with campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Implement age-appropriate games, sports, arts and crafts, and educational activities. Foster a positive camp atmosphere by encouraging teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among campers. Provide support in behavior management and conflict resolution among campers. Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and any concerns that may arise. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp environment. Requirements Experience working with children in various settings such as summer camp, another daycare. or tutoring, is preferred. Strong skills in behavior management and classroom management techniques. Background in early childhood education or childhood development is a plus. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills when interacting with campers. Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
