We pride ourselves on creating a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment for families, children, and staff. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Temporary Preschool Director to lead our program during a transitional period from November through August. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, thrives in a nurturing setting, and is committed to high-quality early childhood education. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to staff and families Ensure compliance with all state and local licensing regulations and health/safety standards Foster a positive and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 0-5 Oversee curriculum implementation, staff scheduling, and parent communication Maintain enrollment and assist with new family onboarding Conduct team meetings, staff evaluations, and professional development support Serve as a liaison between staff, families, and the administration Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master’s preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood education, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or director role Knowledge of state licensing regulations and early learning standards Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to commit to the full term: November through August What We Offer Competitive hourly or salaried pay (commensurate with experience) Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional development Hands-on transition training with outgoing director To Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and availability to
