Preschool Teacher The Learning Experience Middletown, NJ 07748 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and providing individualized support to students to promote their growth and development. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and respectful atmosphere. Provide literacy education through interactive activities that promote reading and writing skills. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s development and address any concerns. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Utilize Montessori principles or other early intervention strategies as appropriate for individual students. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space conducive to learning. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working with young children in daycare or private school settings is highly desirable. Strong skills in classroom management, curriculum development, and literacy education. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early intervention techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team while also being self-motivated.
