The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This position involves engaging with children of various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, to support their growth and development through structured activities and play. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education and childhood development. Create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Engage children in educational activities that stimulate learning through play, exploration, and creativity. Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians on their development. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team environment focused on the needs of each child. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s daily activities and any concerns that may arise. Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities as required. Skills Experience in a daycare center. Knowledge of preschool education principles and early childhood education practices. Understanding of childhood development stages and appropriate care techniques for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Ability to work effectively with children. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children. Ability to foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
