Full Job Description Commitment:

20 hrs per week to start

Scotch Plains, Westfield, Montclair, and surrounding areas Are you an enthusiastic, Jewish (or “Jew-ish”!) musician with a big personality? Do you love singing with kids and families? Then you might be a great fit to join us. Tkiya is looking for an educator to lead preschool music classes in Scotch Plains for about 20 hours per week, mostly mornings (we will work with the right candidate to build out this schedule). Friday morning availability is important, and once we find the right candidate, there is lots of room to add more to this role. Tkiya provides a lot of training and structure, so you do not need a lot of experience for this role, but rather an engaging personality and eagerness to learn. You must have some basic guitar or ukulele skills. Tkiya creates Jewish music experiences to help people of all ages find their unique connection to Jewish culture and connection. We work primarily with families and children ages 0-5 as well as school age children, senior citizens, and more. We partner with more than 80 communities across the country including synagogues, JCCs, PJ Library, and other organizations.
