The Lead Teacher will work closely with students, parents, and support staff to ensure each child’s educational needs are met. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles of students. Utilize early intervention strategies to support children’s developmental needs. Collaborate with speech therapists and other specialists to create and monitor IEPs for students requiring additional support. Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement techniques. Incorporate learning technology into daily activities to enhance student engagement and understanding. Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt instructional methods accordingly. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among students. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working in a preschool setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and behavioral therapy practices is a plus. Familiarity with IEP development and implementation for children with special needs. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
