The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young learners while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Encourage positive social interactions among children and guide them in resolving conflicts. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of children’s development and daily activities. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall daycare experience. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required. Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities. Ability to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
