Educational Child Care Assistant 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars Philadelphia, NY 13673 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care to assist with putting child on the bus and/or getting him off from the bus with a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their development through engaging activities. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage various childcare responsibilities while maintaining a clean and organized space. Responsibilities Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety at all times. Educate children through age-appropriate activities, promoting learning and development. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and children’s rooms. Engage children in creative play, educational games, and outdoor activities. Monitor children’s behavior and provide guidance to encourage positive social interactions. Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities. Provide first aid as needed and ensure that any health issues are addressed promptly. Requirements Previous experience in childcare or as a nanny is preferred. Ability to prepare meals that meet nutritional guidelines for children. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Experience working with children with disabilities or in daycare settings is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents. A nurturing attitude with the ability to create a positive environment for learning and growth. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the agreed-upon schedule. Ability to help get child on the bus in the morning before school and/or getting off from the bus after school. Either shift negotiable.
