Early Childhood Educator 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Lewis County, NY Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will work closely with parents to create engaging home visits. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience with children and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young learners. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support children’s growth. Assess and monitor child’s progress through observations and evaluations. Provide individualized support to children with special needs or varying learning abilities. Collaborate with other staff to share best practices and resources. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends. Requirements Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred or a desire to enroll in continuing education coursework. Tuition reimbursement available upon request. Experience working with young children in daycare or private school settings is highly desirable. Ability to create an inclusive environment with a parent to meet the individual needs of their child. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
