Summary We are seeking a passionate Teacher to join our team at Pride and Joy Childcare. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and educational atmosphere for children, guiding their development through engaging activities and individualized attention. Responsibilities Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education. Foster a safe and supportive environment where children feel valued and encouraged. Monitor children’s progress and development, providing feedback to parents as needed. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Engage with children through play-based learning activities that support their growth. Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. NYS Teaching Certificate in Birth-Grade 2 or comparable Strong knowledge of child welfare and early childhood development principles. Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively.
