• Penfield 1853 Penfield Road, Penfield, NY 14526 Job description We are looking for a qualified teachers to prepare small children for learning and by easing them into organized education.

A caregiver teacher must have a great love and patience for children.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Develop a careful and creative program Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.) Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Track children’s progress and report to parents Communicate with parents regularly Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities
• Previous experience working in a daycare or early childhood education setting is preferred
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
• Ability to create engaging and educational lesson plans for children of different ages
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children a
