Toddler and Preschool Teacher Brightside Childcare 6839 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport, NY 14450 Job Overview We are seeking to hire 2 passionate and dedicated teachers, one in our toddler program and on in our preschool program, to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the development of children and focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Responsibilities Implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Educate students in various subjects including math, language arts, and social skills through hands-on activities and play-based learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Provide individualized support for students with special needs or those requiring early intervention. Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative educational experience. Conduct regular assessments of student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements :

Experience working with children is essential Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children with special needs is highly desirable. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various learning styles. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their developmental milestones.
