This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. Duties Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote learning through play. Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive learning environment. Conduct regular assessments to monitor children’s progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary. Provide individualized support for children with special needs, utilizing appropriate behavior management techniques. Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to enhance the educational experience. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in child welfare and classroom management. Stay informed about current trends in early childhood education, including Montessori methods and standardized testing practices. Qualifications Experience working with children in a preschool or similar setting is required. Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management are necessary. A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
