Toddler Teacher 1.0 1.0 out of 5 stars 185 Glenerie Boulevard, Saugerties, NY 12477 Options Early Childhood Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated addition to our team for our Toddler Room. This room has 1 lead teacher and 1 assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to babies and young toddlers in a daycare setting
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for each baby
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Follow daily routines and schedules to ensure consistency for the children
• Monitor and supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
• Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement educational and recreational activities
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility

Experience:

• Previous experience in daycare is required
• Familiarity with childhood development and early childhood education principles
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
• Ability to adapt to different personalities and individual needs of each child

Education:

• Minimum of a CDA or college credits directly in early education or be willing to enroll in a CDA program.
