The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and faith/religious development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Assess and document children’s progress through provided curruculum tools and individual observations. Provide individualized support to children with special needs or developmental challenges. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare. Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure safety and engagement. Qualifications CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience in childcare is essential. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool education. Experience working with children in a preschool setting is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Skills in curriculum development are beneficial. A commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment that prioritizes child welfare. Clearances required to work at Pennsylvania DHS regulated child care facility. Act 33: Child Abuse History, Act 34: Criminal Record, Act 114: FBI Fingerprint, NSOR (National Sex Offenders Registry) Verification Infant-Child First Aid/CPR Certification preferred Join us in shaping the future of our young learners by providing them with the foundational skills they need for lifelong success!
