!! Yes YOU!!! Do you want to work at a center that provides team building days at places like Axe Throwing, Erie Children’s Museum, Port Farms and the Escape Room? Do you want to work at a center that provides paid training days? Do you want to get leg hugs

EVERYDAY?

Do you want to work at a center that provides monthly one-on-one meetings to truly support you? Would you like to be rewarded with extra vacation time when you are raved by your colleagues & families? Do you want the freedom to be creative with your room arrangement and lesson plans where you are NOT required to follow a script? Then we have the

MOST AMAZING

opportunity for you!!! Our World Changer role is truly making the difference in the world by supporting children in their work. You may not be able to change the world, but you can impact those that will! Do you LOVE to give hugs, wipe noses, calm a crying child, get your hair done by a little, and eat from the most amazing buffet of pretend food ever? Do you have an inner rock star that LOVES to sing “Let it Go”, “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” on repeat 10x? It truly doesn’t matter if you can’t carry a tune, but you MUST be able to perform like a rock star! Can you count up to 6? It doesn’t seem hard, but when there are a sea of moving heads and locate ALL of them while play hide & seek is a definite skill! Do you LOVE to read? Our reading skills require the ability to read an engaging story to a small group of children (voice changes and accents are a PLUS) while one is crawling across your lap, another grabs the book and another shares a completely different story with you. Do you have an inner child where you do NOT take yourself too seriously? Ridiculousness is a must to wrangle the attention of a classroom of little people! Do you LOVE to play Memory and match things? The ability to remember 20+ names while matching shoes, socks, blankies, coats, and any other possession to the right child is like being a detective. Do you just LOVE to move? Navigating your body from the floor to a chair to run across the playground and climb through a tunnel definitely closes the fitness rings and burns calories! Finally, you MUST be prepared to laugh, love, learn and grow. This is by far one of the most rewarding places to work, but we have challenges as well as successes. We won’t lie and say everyday is unicorns and rainbows! Some days you will be exhausted and your immune system will become stronger than you could’ve ever imagined. Yet, you will come back and see the silver linings in each day because you will be changing the world, one child at a time. Then we have the most amazing opportunity to join our team and let that enthusiasm for learning, discovering, teamwork and most of all…imagination flow! Little Acorns Learning Center is looking for a heart centered World Changer (Co-Lead Teacher) to make a difference in the lives of our children in our Saplings (2-3 year old classroom). Together our teams create environments where children can safely explore the world around them and thrive by being down at the child’s level. The loving nurturing care you provide will make all the difference in the life of a child. This is a great opportunity for college graduates to gain experience!
