Support the development of children (birth to three) and empower families using your expertise in early intervention and positive behavior strategies.

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized early intervention services, focusing on all developmental domains (cognitive, communication, social-emotional, physical). Implement behavior support plans in collaboration with families using positive behavior support strategies. Empower families through education, coaching, and resource provision. Collaborate with therapists, educators, and medical providers for comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Experience:

1+ years working with children (birth to three) with developmental delays/disabilities in early intervention, home-visiting, or inclusive childcare (Required).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or related field (Required).

Skills:

Knowledge of child development milestones, early intervention principles, and best practices. Experience with positive behavior support strategies and family collaboration. Strong relationship-building, communication, and collaboration skills. Computer proficiency. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within McKean County.
