Infant Room Teacher The Madden School Norristown, PA 19401 Job Overview The Madden School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infant Room Teacher to work along side others at their Keystone Stars 4 rated school! In this Infant Techer Assistant role, The Infant Teacher and Assistant work together to implement a meticuous care pan for our youngest learners, and facilitates planned activities and curriculum to promote youth development, social responsibility and healthy living. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible with their schedule, has experience working with infants and has a genuine interest in teaching/education. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and have a genuine love for working with the youngest of age groups- our infants! Responsibilities Build a nurturing and positive learning environment by encouraging growth and development. Ensure proper implementation of the Creative Curriculum within the classroom and ensuring a high rating with Pennsylvania’s (QRIS) Quality Rating and Improvement System – Keystone Stars! Create a daily schedule and lesson plan to follow daily Develop and implement age appropriate practicies that promote early childhood development. Communicate effectively Iwith parents, guardians and families about their children’s progress and day. Requirements CDA prefered, but not required. Must have reliable transportation. Two years of experience as an Infant Teacher in a Child Care setting. Strong time management, leadership, and organizational skills Flexible and able to multi-task General Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Keystone Stars QRIS Rating System A genuine desire and passion for working with and caring for children.
