Preschool Teacher | Full-Time or Part-Time for Summer Kid-Doodles Learning Center 16 East Park Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Provide individualized attention to each child, focusing on their unique developmental needs. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress and communicate findings to parents or guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. Incorporate various teaching methods including Montessori principles to support diverse learning styles. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends. Requirements Proven experience in toddler care or preschool settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development and behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Ability to create a positive learning environment that fosters curiosity and creativity. Experience in tutoring or providing additional support in subjects such as math is a plus. A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
