Afternoon Infant Teacher 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 341 Egypt Rd, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in childhood development and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and grow. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans, fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect among students. Monitor children’s progress and provide individualized support to meet their developmental needs. Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience across different classrooms. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Skills Experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment. Ability to provide special education support as needed for diverse learners. Experience in toddler care is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. First aid certification is preferred but not required at the time of hire. A compassionate approach to caregiving that prioritizes the well-being of each child.
