The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our child care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This position involves collaborating with the Director to implement educational programs, manage staff, and engage with families to foster a strong community. Responsibilities Assist the Director in overseeing daily operations of the child care center. Ensure compliance with state and local licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and other school policies. Support teachers curriculum planning and classroom instruction as needed. Supervise and support teacher’s professional development. Foster positive relationships with parents and families, addressing their concerns and promoting involvement in the center’s activities. Monitor classroom environments to ensure quality learning and safety. Handle and assist with other administrative tasks including event planning and coordinating, creating engaging age-appropriate activities, enrollment, parent engagement, maintaining records for both students and staff Experience High School Diploma or equivalent A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred, not required) At least 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting, with supervisory experience (preferred) CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain) Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also taking initiative when necessary. Passion for working with children and leading a team. Experience in recruiting and training of classroom teachers.
