To succeed in this position you will need: High school diploma or Associates Degree At least six months experience working in DSS certified childcare facility CPR/first aid certificate or be able to obtain this ECD 101 preferable Be familiar with Creative Curriculum or willing to learn how to use A positive, friendly attitude for parents and children High-level verbal and written communication skills Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized Coursework in early childhood education or child development is a plus At least three references The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience Be organized and have the ability to plan lessons that are educational, hands on and interesting Provide a learning environment that is safe, comfortable and healthy, in order to enhance children’s growth and development Be Flexible and Proactive Be Able to work the part time hours 6:30 am-12:00 pm or 7:00 am-12:00 pm with occasional overtime Only those serious about the care and well being of children need apply Duties Assist teachers in classroom activities and management.
