As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning atmosphere that fosters childhood development and encourages creativity, exploration, and social interaction among children. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education and developmental milestones. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Manage classroom activities, ensuring that all children are engaged and participating. Provide individual attention to children to support their unique needs and learning styles. Monitor children’s behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies as needed. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for children. Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Requirements Experience in nannying, caregiving, or early childhood education is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Be able to pass a background check and finger print. Experience working with children with disabilities is desirable but not required. Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning through play. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
